Top Ideas for Water, Sanitation & Hygiene
Published by
In April 2016, Haïti Priorise held its twelfth sector expert roundtable to discuss the best solutions for improving Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). Roundtable participants were asked to identify the strengths and weaknesses of current policy efforts and to propose actions they think should be prioritized as a means to improve WASH in Haiti.
The most notable ideas with regard to WASH focused on increasing access to WASH in rural areas, installing rain water systems in dry-remote areas, establishing perimeters around water sources, installing bio-digesters in schools, fighting fraud in WASH, and adapting WASH service products to different types of consumers.
