Elena Strukova Golub is an expert in environmental economics and environmental finance, specifically in cost of environmental degradation and cost-benefit analysis. She published several peer-reviewed books and papers. Dr. Strukova has an extensive work experience in transition and developing countries in the field of environmental, energy and climate policy including technical analysis and policy advisory role. As the World Bank consultant she was involved in the Cost of Environmental Degradation and Benefit-Cost Analysis studies in Latin America, South Asia, Africa, Middle East and Eastern Europe.  Also, she served as the OECD expert on environmental finance, energy subsidies elimination, natural resources and pollution fees and the UNDP expert on adaptation to climate change.
