Prof. Susan Horton, Author of the Micronutrient supplements for children (vitamin A and zinc), Micronutrient fortification (iron and salt iodization), and Deworming and other nutrition programs at school BPPs, has given presentations of the BPPs at the following meetings:

• Oct 1, American Thyroid Association keynote presentation, researchers/doctors: approx 70 attended 

• Oct 22, European Flour Millers Association, Bucharest, 100 attended (millers, researchers, policymakers, media) 

• Oct 8, Economics Department Wilfrid Laurier University internal seminar, 20 attended, faculty 

• Oct 28, presentation to Board members and friends of Helen Keller International, New York City, 40 attended - donors, supporters of HKI, staff (of NGO) 

• Nov 15 Keynote speech to Laurel Centre for Social Entrepreneurship, Waterloo, 160 attended - NGO representatives, students from across Ontario 

• Nov 25 Presentation to UNICEF regional consultation, 40 attended; policymakers, UNICEF country reps, academics

• Dec 5 Presentation at Centre for International Governance Initiatives in Waterloo, 35 attended: academics, students, conference on the food crisis

• Jan 29, 2009, North-South Institute on January 29, 2009, for researchers and donors.
