Youth Forum
The Youth Forum is a conference involving more than 50 students from Latin America and the Caribbean who went through the same policy exercise as the 9 highly esteemed economists in the Consulta de San José 2007.
The objective of the Youth Forum was to include Latin American youth; the decision-makers of tomorrow, in the process in order for their input to complement the economists' list.
The overall objective of the Youth Forum was therefore to listen to the young people of Latin America and having them voice what solutions they believe should be given priority to alleviate the challenges facing their region today.
The Youth Forum ranking accompanied the ranking of the Expert Panel of the Consulta de San José 2007 and was published on the same day at the closing press conference.
