Key Outcomes:

On December 3, 2021, the NPC Malawi hosted a Media Panel to promote the findings of the Malawi Priorities Technical Report on Disaster Risk Reduction. The panel featured a keynote address made by Dr. Bjorn Lomborg, President of the Copenhagen Consensus, and was reported nationally within both TV and newspaper outlets.

Key Outcomes:

On a public scale, the findings of the Technical Report were introduced within a series of Op-Eds produced by the NPC within the Daily Times and the Nations Newspaper. The OpEd outlining the findings ran on March 16, 2021. Subsequently, the NPC hosted a Media Panel on COMEX Reform, which featured a Legislator from national assembly, a technocrat from ministry responsible for issue area, academia, private sector, and a development partner in the sector. It was well attended by Media representatives.

The initial findings of the analysis on Food Security were presented to the at a Research Webinar on November, 27, 2020. On a public scale, the findings of the Technical Report were introduced within a series of Op-Eds produced by the NPC within the Daily Times and the Nations Newspaper. The OpEd outlining the findings of the Irrigation analysis ran on March 9, 2021.
