Youth Forum: Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technolgy University
On December 6 2016, a Bangladesh Priorities Youth Forum was held at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University. Forty eight students from different departments of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technolgy University attended the forum. Mr. Mizanur Rahman, Lecturer, Dept. of Public Administration attended as a special guest.
After a lively debate and fruitful discussion regarding the ranking of top priorities for Bangladesh, a total of 11 students ranked “E-procurement across government” as their top priority. One of the students commented that
the research shows that E-procurement has several benefits in terms of ensuring transparency, reducing corruption and political influence, increasing competition which also saves lots of money.”
